Tomas Gonsalve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigio Manny's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Emanuel Peyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorio Felo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Lucado made a kick off. A collision led to Matyvelez F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Emanuel Lucado hit a great ball. Esteve Lorencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Anibal Manex had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Aimar charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Aimar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Matyvelez F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Aimar to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Lorencio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Jacrez.F.C.V's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Emilio Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jacrez.F.C.V's Teofilo Oliverio pulled a muscle in his leg after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Claudio Remicio was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Tomas Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Lorencio in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Esteve Lorencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th match minute, Jacrez.F.C.V was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Florian to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Emanuel Peyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacrez.F.C.V's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
