Portalis FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Cordeara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Adela's Elias Cordeara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Beltxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Paulin to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Paulin in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Banegas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guaberto Mambru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Venceslao's late challenge caught a Portalis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Venceslao helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Portalis FC booed when Adela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position.
