Lino Mercurio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomas Gonsalve. Matyvelez F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Aldo Cilio fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paganzo's protests and gave Aldo Cilio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Paganzo's Aldo Cilio got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Paganzo's Lino Mercurio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tomas Gonsalve but with some difficulty. In the 29th minute Damian Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amador Oskarbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Matyvelez F.C.'s zone, Amador Oskarbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Gonsalve came out of the goal and Amador Oskarbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 49th minute Emanuel Lucado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Paganzo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matyvelez F.C. were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Lucado to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Peyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Emanuel Peyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matyvelez F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Peyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Lucado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Lucado in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Matyvelez F.C.'s Emanuel Peyo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Afonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Damian Shantala succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After having played for 74 minutes, Emilio Aimar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matyvelez F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Aimar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Oskarbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes in the game, Emanuel Lucado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Simon Afonso having to interfere. Paganzo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emanuel Lucado 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3.
