Constantino Astrada started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Club Atlético Oberá got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Bela. 7 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Oberá's goalkeeper Apolo Cordairo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Sindo. Club Atlético Oberá's Apolo Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Gonsalvo in the 13th minute of play. Ceferino Gonsalvo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Apolo Cordairo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuberbühler. Saverio Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Quinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Astrada in the 22nd minute of the match. Rodrigo Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Astrada in the 27th minute of play. Horacio Bela hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Saverio Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Cordairo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Constantino Astrada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Oberá's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Astrada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Quinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Elpidio Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler's Ceferino Gonsalvo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Cordairo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saverio Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apolo Remicio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Zuberbühler's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Federico Maurin in the 50th minute. Zuberbühler's Federico Maurin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Apolo Cordairo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Gonsalvo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Saverio Sindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zuberbühler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Sindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Oberá's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Gonsalvo came free, but Apolo Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Oberá's zone, Ceferino Gonsalvo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Cordairo came out of the goal and Ceferino Gonsalvo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Oberá's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Sindo came free, but Apolo Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ceferino Gonsalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruperto Bermudo might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Quinton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruperto Bermudo ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruperto Bermudo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Quinton. Rodrigo Quinton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Oberá's Horacio Bela got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ruperto Bermudo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Rodrigo Quinton made a huge save. Saverio Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zuberbühler's Rodrigo Quinton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Zuberbühler from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
