Xeneizes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Merexildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xeneizes FC's Augusto Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Paskal in the 23rd minute of play. After 31 played minutes, La Gota FC's Guaberto Paskal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augusto Lano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Gota FC reached it. When Francisco Dominguez fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xeneizes FC's protests and gave Francisco Dominguez a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Xeneizes FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Dominguez. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Firme during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Xeneizes FC booed when La Gota FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Firme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Isidro Merexildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 63rd minute, Benjamin Inautzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xeneizes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gervasio Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Merexildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gervasio Lixandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Inautzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Isidro Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Benjamin Inautzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Gota FC's Gervasio Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Inautzi in the 85th minute of play. Isidro Merexildo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Lixandro. Gervasio Lixandro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
