In the 22nd minute, Eusebio Bladi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horacio Primo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Oscar Frasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Bladi struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Oscar Frasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimborazo. Oscar Frasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Bladi in the 32nd minute. After 36 minutes, Horacio Primo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Villa Crespo's Oscar Frasco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chimborazo's Eusebio Bladi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Paskal to make the kick off. Oscar Frasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Primo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Horacio Primo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Crespo's Oscar Frasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eusebio Bladi struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Oscar Frasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimborazo. Oscar Frasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Horacio Primo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chimborazo's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Primo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Frasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Sabin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Chimborazo fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Chimborazo's Horacio Primo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 92nd minute, Eusebio Bladi made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Frasco. Villa Crespo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After having played for 95 minutes, Horacio Primo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chimborazo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Primo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chimborazo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
