Apolo Cordairo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xeneizes FC. If Benjamin Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute of the match, Benjamin Inautzi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Apolo Cordairo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Isidro Merexildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Club Atlético Oberá's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isidro Merexildo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Xeneizes FC's Astor Ferrer got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Benjamin Inautzi came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Xeneizes FC fans jumped to their feet. Benjamin Inautzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Cordairo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Inautzi to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Club Atlético Oberá got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Baudelio. The Xeneizes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Augusto Lano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isidro Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidro Merexildo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Cordairo saved Club Atlético Oberá from getting behind. Apolo Cordairo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Inautzi in the 86th minute of the match. Apolo Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Oberá's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celso Argina was slow to take the kick. During this time Xeneizes FC's players had a chance to rest. Bernardino Nel tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Apolo Cordairo. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-1 in the 88th minute.
