When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Horacio Bela put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Angelino Lartaun. Dario Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 20 minutes into the game, one of DE VELEZ YO SOY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 25 played minutes DE VELEZ YO SOY got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Gonsalvo. If Ruperto Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Apolo Remicio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Oberá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Angelino Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Bermudo in the 35th minute of play. Club Atlético Oberá's Constantino Astrada got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacio Mendebal charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Apolo Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Gonsalvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ruperto Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Lartaun having to interfere. Ruperto Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Bernardino Nel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in DE VELEZ YO SOY's zone, Constantino Astrada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Lartaun came out of the goal and Constantino Astrada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Constantino Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The DE VELEZ YO SOY fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlético Oberá were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
