Herminio Quinto charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herminio Quinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Corti AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Herminio Quinto hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Club Atletico Flecha's Pastor Quexal tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Club Atletico Flecha booed when Corti AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Pancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes, Club Atletico Flecha's Pastor Quexal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Atarrabi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Flecha reached it. After 14 played minutes Club Atletico Flecha got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Romano. In the 17th minute, Jairo Pancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pastor Quexal shot from long distance in the 18th minute, but Jaime Atarrabi was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Dionisio Tanio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Atarrabi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Tomás Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Luis Eliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Tanio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jaime Atarrabi made a huge save. The audience cheered when Rogelio Weather's long shot passed Silvestre Silvanito's right side. It was 0-1, 34 minutes into the match. Laureano Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Atarrabi having to interfere. Jaime Atarrabi made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Dionisio Tanio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Tomás Lizbeth got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Lizbeth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Tanio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Atarrabi having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Tomás Lizbeth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Artemio Berbiz came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Corti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Berbiz couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Dionisio Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atletico Flecha's Silvestre Silvanito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Flecha from getting a goal against them. The Club Atletico Flecha fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Club Atletico Flecha's Dionisio Tanio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Corti AFC's Artemio Berbiz got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Flecha's Laureano Romano got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Club Atletico Flecha's Dionisio Tanio got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Lizbeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Atarrabi having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Corti AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atletico Flecha:s goal. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Club Atletico Flecha. Pastor Quexal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jaime Atarrabi. 2-1. If Abel Salvator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Dionisio Tanio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Atarrabi. Corti AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Tanio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
