Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Mannuel in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Teobaldo Silban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Gaskon in the 38th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Lehmann FC's zone, Hernan Gaskon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Silban came out of the goal and Hernan Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apolo Feliz shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Rodolfo Isidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Mannuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Ospin kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match.
