Clodoveo Gartzen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Gartzen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Lázaro Bertran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niceto Eskuin's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, La Barraca FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Freddy Basajaun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 32 minutes into the match, Urbano's Niceto Eskuin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Bertran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Samuel Ixona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Gartzen was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Emilio Gartzen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Samuel Ixona made the kick off in the second half. Emilio Gartzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lázaro Bertran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Urbano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Basajaun to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Gartzen came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by La Barraca FC's Clodoveo Gartzen. But to his dismay, Clodoveo Gartzen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Aureliano Ulizes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, La Barraca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Basajaun came free, but Lázaro Bertran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st play minute Clodoveo Gartzen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emilio Gartzen. 0-3. When Freddy Basajaun came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Urbano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Basajaun couldn't finish the play.
