Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Mazán's Teofilo Arnas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teofilo Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Froilan Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, C.A.J.I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Mateus to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, C.A.J.I.'s goalkeeper Froilan Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Aragones. Teofilo Arnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Froilan Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Teofilo Arnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes Teofilo Arnas rounded C.A.J.I.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 23 minutes, Teofilo Arnas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mazán and the C.A.J.I. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Teofilo Arnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Mazán's Teofilo Arnas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 32 minutes into the game, Honorato Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.J.I.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazán the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.A.J.I.'s Honorato Neto got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Txeru during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 46 minutes in the game Dario Virila after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Froilan Domingues. A very good opportunity. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Espiridion to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Zacarias Erlantz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Rio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Marcial Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Espiridion in the 57th minute of play. After 67 played minutes C.A.J.I. got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Mateus. 3-1 became the score in the 68th minute when Isaac Aragones elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Zacarias Erlantz came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the C.A.J.I. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Erlantz couldn't finish the play. Cirilo Petrigai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Marcial Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.A.J.I.'s Honorato Neto got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Honorato Neto off the ground. In the 80th match minute, C.A.J.I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Neto to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Domingues having to interfere. Froilan Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mazán walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
