Emilio Gartzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Ubelteso in the 38th minute of play. If Severo Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Eskuin to make the kick off. Pastor Claus came out of the goal and Niceto Eskuin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Gartzen made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Severo Bartoli sent off a good shot on target. Pastor Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Basajaun in the 78th minute of play. Severo Bartoli in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emilio Gartzen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pastor Claus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Basajaun went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Severo Bartoli struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Emilio Gartzen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El sol negro. The supporters of El sol negro booed when Urbano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Steven didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Urbano had won after a very even match.
