Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Mazán's Teofilo Arnas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2ndth minute of the game Martin Rodas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mazán's Marcial Rio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute Prudencio Txordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Aragones was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Isaac Aragones was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. Mazán's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jeronimo Txema stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Arnas's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Rodas in the 23rd minute of play forced Mazán's goalkeeper Marcial Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, Arerunguá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Blai to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Txema having to interfere. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
