The supporters of riverplatense booed when Altautina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Aguilera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Asur in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Aguilera saved riverplatense from getting behind. Manuel Asur struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Godofredo Aguilera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altautina FC. Altautina FC's Eriberto Aguirre got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 minutes of play, Altautina FC's Manuel Asur made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Aguilera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 played minutes riverplatense got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Ourente. Cirilo Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Urbano Iigo made a huge save. Godofredo Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godofredo Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Asur in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Altautina FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Eriberto Aguirre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Godofredo Aguilera. The goal made the score 0-2. Paulino Rameriz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Godofredo Aguilera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Asur in the 73rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Vellito during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Asur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godofredo Aguilera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Altautina FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
