The audience was convinced that Angelino Bastian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Rio was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Arnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelino Bastian charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Bastian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angelino Bastian hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mazán booed when Deportivo Martes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Mannuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Rafel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Aragones in the 75th minute of the match. Deportivo Martes's Angelino Bastian was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Isaac Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Leonel Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Martes's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Erramu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Rio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelino Bastians short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Marcial Rio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leonel Erramu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Rio having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Bastian in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Rio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Mazán fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Martes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
