Mazán's Teofilo Arnas got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ancóm's Maximino Boniel got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Isaac Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Aragones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venancio Loren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Aragones got free with Silvestre Deunoro in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvestre Deunoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Aragones in the 15th minute. Maximino Boniel's late challenge caught a Mazán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Boniel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Ancóm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Boniel to maneuver through the defense. In the 21stth minute of the game Teofilo Arnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ancóm's Silvestre Deunoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melquiades Bilbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Venancio Loren sped through Mazán's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcial Rio. If Isaac Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Venancio Loren made a kick off. Venancio Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Saul Ekialde got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mazán's Marcial Rio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Mazán from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Isaac Aragones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mazán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Silvestre Deunoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Arnas in the 67th minute of play. When Venancio Loren came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ancóm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Loren couldn't finish the play. Venancio Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Rio having to interfere. The referee showed Melquiades Bilbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mazán getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Melquiades Bilbo hit a great ball. When Venancio Loren, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcial Rio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mazán had won after a very even match.
