Lázaro Bertran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urbano. Emilio Gartzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of La Barraca FC booed when Urbano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Clodoveo Gartzen sped through Urbano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emilio Gartzen. 37 minutes into the game, Baldomero Eriz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urbano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Barraca FC the free kick. Baldomero Eriz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes La Barraca FC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Lauaxeta. Niceto Eskuin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Urbano! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Ixona was the one to do the kick off.
