The Berreta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Fernendo should have stopped the shot.

Mauricio Quinteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Independiente de Caseros's Fausto Leobardo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Cipriano Kepa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fulgencio Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Tano in the 76th minute of the match. Fulgencio Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Oskarbi in the 78th minute of play. Benigno Oskarbi took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Fernendo. Marcelo Frantzes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berreta. 90 minutes into the match, Independiente de Caseros's goalkeeper Marcelo Frantzes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Quinteros.
