With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Martino in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Guillelmus saved Igarzábal FC from getting behind. Freddy Savier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Nemesio Pierres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Bikendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th match minute, Igarzábal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Gar to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Ermegildo Txema from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Romeo Guillelmus's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 14 minutes into the match, CHIO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Bikendi came free, but Nemesio Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Herminio Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Gilabert made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 24thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Romeo Guillelmus would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Freddy Savier took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nemesio Pierres. Nemesio Pierres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 41 played minutes Igarzábal FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Eguerdi. Higinio Bikendi struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Nemesio Pierres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Igarzábal FC. Freddy Savier struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Savier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romeo Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Gilabert in the 57th minute of play. CHIO F.C.'s Nemesio Pierres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save CHIO F.C. from getting a goal against them. Higinio Bikendi struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nemesio Pierres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Igarzábal FC. 78 minutes into the match, Higinio Bikendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemesio Pierres. CHIO F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Bikendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 83 minutes into the match, Aureliano Gilabert notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Igarzábal FC's Romeo Guillelmus. Romeo Guillelmus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nemesio Pierres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Savier, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Higinio Bikendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Freddy Savier took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Nemesio Pierres to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Igarzábal FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
