ChrisLee's Aquilino Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Gombal in the 39th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Gombal to make the kick off. ChrisLee's Florentino Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saturnino Guter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Erasto, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 75th minute Lucio Erasto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Guter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Angulas's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Erasto came free, but Saturnino Guter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Ederono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Ongile having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Angulas's Aquilino Ongile threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Clemente Llorenc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. ChrisLee's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Procopio in the 89th minute.
