Honorio Lalla's late challenge caught a Tambería's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Lalla helped the player get up and apologised. Nemesio Pierres went to the wrong direction when Andres Tristan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. CHIO F.C.'s Nemesio Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Niemoj in the 10th minute of play. Nemesio Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Betadur in the 11th minute of play. Atabey Ülgü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Pierres having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Martino in the 15th minute of play forced Tambería's goalkeeper Celedonio Beat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Pierres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Betadur, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Jaime Betadur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Pierres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Angelino Munio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CHIO F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tambería the free kick. When Atabey Ülgü came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Tambería fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atabey Ülgü couldn't finish the play. CHIO F.C.'s Herminio Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celedonio Beat was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Herminio Martino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Herminio Martino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nemesio Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atabey Ülgü in the 32nd minute of play. Jaime Betadur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nemesio Pierres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CHIO F.C.'s Nemesio Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Niemoj in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Igor Niemoj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambería's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Niemoj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CHIO F.C.'s Nemesio Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Niemoj in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Betadur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tambería booed when CHIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Txema didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Frasco tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Nemesio Pierres. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 52nd minute. Igor Niemoj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Pierres having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Igor Niemoj dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nemesio Pierres, 1-2. Tambería's Atabey Ülgü got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, CHIO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Atabey Ülgü came free, but Nemesio Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Herminio Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Beat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Tristan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Betadur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andres Tristan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemesio Pierres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Kevin Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Atabey Ülgü could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Nemesio Pierres however easily saved by the left post. If Igor Niemoj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tambería played a much better game than CHIO F.C. and deserved their victory. The CHIO F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
