Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricardo Gombal took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita's Angelino Millano got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Jose Saturnin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Cienaguita's Jose Saturnin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saturnino Guter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita's Angelino Millano got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Ladislao Eufrasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ladislao Eufrasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Gombal in the 28th minute of play. Candido Ederono kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Jose Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Saturnin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Andres Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Jose Saturnin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tomás Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Leizarraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Guter having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jose Saturnin made the kick off in the second half. Ladislao Eufrasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Isidro Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Abel in the 58th minute of play forced Angulas's goalkeeper Saturnino Guter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Odon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saturnino Guter having to make a save. Andres Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Saturnino Guter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Gombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Jose Saturnin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Guter was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jose Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cienaguita's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Saturnin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Guter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angulas's Saturnino Guter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Leizarraga in the 83rd minute of play. If Andres Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Andres Abel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saturnino Guter was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Sergio Ricart hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match Baldomero Gervaso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidro Cortez skillfully saved the ball. Cienaguita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
