Freddy Loco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 minutes, Bernardo Salvatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the mattaldi.fc and the BENY players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Bernardo Salvatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Flores having to interfere. When Aureliano Froylan came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the BENY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Froylan couldn't finish the play. Aureliano Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Flores having to interfere. A collision led to BENY getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Moises Sabin hit a great ball. If Freddy Loco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Moises Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Loco in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BENY's zone, Alejo Berasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Fiz came out of the goal and Alejo Berasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Tolino charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Tolino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of mattaldi.fc booed when BENY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the match, mattaldi.fc's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Loco came free, but Moises Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddy Loco in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moises Flores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to BENY getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Antonio Gaskon hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Alejo Berasko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Fiz was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, mattaldi.fc's goalkeeper Moises Flores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Froylan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Berasko in the 70th minute of play forced BENY's goalkeeper Faustino Fiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Moises Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BENY's Freddy Loco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. BENY's Emilio Tolino got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Emilio Tolino off the ground. A collision led to BENY getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Emilio Tolino hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Berasko in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Fiz saved BENY from getting behind. After having played for 88 minutes, Honorio Cambranes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BENY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Cambranes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. mattaldi.fc's Moises Flores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save mattaldi.fc from getting a goal against them. When the match was over BENY could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than mattaldi.fc throughout the match.
