In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gramilla FC's goalkeeper Cristian Rivas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Gramilla FC's Cristian Rivas got control of the ball when Nicanor Checa tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Ballester FC's Cristian Rivas threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teo Eate, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nicanor Checa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Rivas having to make a save. In the 16th minute, Ballester FC's Nicanor Checa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristian Rivas. Cristian Rivas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cristian Rivas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Checa went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Ballester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Rosio came free, but Marco Galo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ballester FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tomas Neto hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Baltasar Bide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Galo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Rosio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Bruno Hever charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Hever the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Hever kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ballester FC's Tomas Neto got a free kick in the 35th minute. Marco Galo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Bide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Gramilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Eate came free, but Cristian Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Eate to make the kick off. A collision led to Ballester FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bruno Hever hit a great ball. When Baltasar Bide came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Gramilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Bide couldn't finish the play. Bruno Hever got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 58th match minute, Ballester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Hever to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Ballester FC's goalkeeper Marco Galo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Rosio. 63 minutes into the match, Gramilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Checa came free, but Cristian Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Urdaspal hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Galo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 73 played minutes Ballester FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Neto. Rogelio Rosio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Marco Galo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eleuterio Artal kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gramilla FC's Ambrosio Txerran got a free kick in the 85th minute. Marco Galo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Bide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ballester FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
