Isidro Cordeara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Berasko in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Cordeara saved AFBP Los Troncos from getting behind. When Arnaldo Palban fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFBP Los Troncos's protests and gave Arnaldo Palban a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of mattaldi.fc booed when AFBP Los Troncos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Policarpio struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Moises Flores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFBP Los Troncos. Moises Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, mattaldi.fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaime Abella fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romulo Liher to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes AFBP Los Troncos got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Abella. Moises Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Chumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Cordeara having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Abella in the 63rd minute of play forced mattaldi.fc's goalkeeper Moises Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jaime Abella managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFBP Los Troncos's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Abella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Flores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the match, mattaldi.fc's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Jokin came free, but Moises Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. mattaldi.fc's Narciso Larra got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Liher got free with Isidro Cordeara in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 minutes, Bernardo Salvatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the mattaldi.fc and the AFBP Los Troncos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute of the match Fermin Mederi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moises Flores showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. mattaldi.fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
