Elvio Haimar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Dantae having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Rafel in the 14th minute of play forced Quinquela Martín's goalkeeper Martín Campaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Celestino Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Dantae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Gartzea's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Erasmo Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ramiro Dantae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quinquela Martín's Erasmo Gartzea got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Quinquela Martín's zone, Maximino Beltran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martín Campaña came out of the goal and Maximino Beltran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Dantae was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erasmo Gartzea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. Celestino Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th minute, Quinquela Martín's Erasmo Gartzea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramiro Dantae. Ramiro Dantae yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Erasmo Gartzea made the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Huasapampa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Gartzea came free, but Ramiro Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Erasmo Gartzea came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Quinquela Martín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Gartzea couldn't finish the play. If Maximino Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Rafel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martín Campaña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Erasmo Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Erasmo Gartzea put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Dantae. If Erasmo Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huasapampa AFC's Ramiro Dantae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Gartzea in the 90th minute of play. Erasmo Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Dantae having to interfere. Quinquela Martín walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
