After a rather tough play, Sabadell's Gerardo Licerio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The long shot by Lisandro Ospetsu in the 44th minute really tested Robustiano Maties's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Simon Oxarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Gabrio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play.
