Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Elvio Haimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quinquela Martín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sosa AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quinquela Martín's Elvio Haimar got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Gonzalo Eliazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sosa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Eliazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martín Campaña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Eliazar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Martín Campaña firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Gonzalo Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Amado Opilano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martín Campaña. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Amado Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Martín Campaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martín Campaña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Ritchie in the 26th minute. Alonzo Gai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martín Campaña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Leopoldo Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Gartzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Quinquela Martín booed when Sosa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ritchie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Gai made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felipe Ritchie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Eliazar in the 85th minute of play forced Quinquela Martín's goalkeeper Martín Campaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
