The supporters of tigres rojos booed when Cascallares FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Eskuin took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Cruz. Federico Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Gelacio in the 17th minute of play forced tigres rojos's goalkeeper Federico Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes tigres rojos got a freekick which was hit by Damian Ignatius. Guido Urbasa scored 2-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eriberto Reyes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 33 played minutes tigres rojos got a freekick which was hit by Damian Ignatius. 35 minutes into the match, Felix Eskuin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Federico Cruz. tigres rojos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Eskuin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Felix Eskuin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Cruz having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Hunfredo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, tigres rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Ignatius to maneuver through the defense. Federico Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Raulo in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Eskuin in the 62nd minute of play forced tigres rojos's goalkeeper Federico Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Ignatius charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Ignatius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damian Ignatius kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Tomas Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rodrigo Raulo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascallares FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Raulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in tigres rojos's zone, Desiderio Gelacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Cruz came out of the goal and Desiderio Gelacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Raulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Federico Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Reyes made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Damian Ignatius sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Tomas Escobar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Gelacio in the 88th minute of play.
