Federico Firman might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvaldo Hulberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Firman ran back to his position shaking his head. Osvaldo Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Etxekopar in the 31st minute of play forced Pichanal AFC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pichanal AFC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Hulberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pichanal AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. MILLONARIOS the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pichanal AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Taurino in the 59th minute of play forced F.C. MILLONARIOS's goalkeeper Lucio Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Tolino in the 63rd minute of the match. If Honorato Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute of the match Alvaro Hug sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucio Alvarez skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute Ciriaco Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Pichanal AFC's Gerardo Rolado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucio Alvarez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Ciriaco Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lucio Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Ciriaco Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
