The referee ignored ALBERDI's protests and gave Tiburcio Abella a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes ALBERDI got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Abella. After a rather tough play, ALBERDI's Tiburcio Abella got a free kick in the 18th minute. Flavio Dayam might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Rius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Dayam ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaac Ugutz's late challenge caught a El Expreso Tombino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Ugutz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, ALBERDI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Ugutz to maneuver through the defense. ALBERDI's Anier Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Tajo in the 23rd minute of play. Emanuel Tano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of El Expreso Tombino booed when ALBERDI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Olentzaro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Tajo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Rius saved ALBERDI from getting behind. Aristides Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ovidio Aires, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 61 played minutes El Expreso Tombino got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Martxot. El Expreso Tombino's Flavio Dayam got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niceto Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Tano, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Fidel Arotza hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Flavio Dayam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Aristides Tajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Rius went to the wrong direction when Ovidio Aires was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Emanuel Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in ALBERDI's zone, Aristides Tajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Rius came out of the goal and Aristides Tajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niceto Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Tano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Tajo in the 95th minute of play. Aristides Tajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Rius having to interfere. The El Expreso Tombino players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ALBERDI from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
