In the 32nd minute Cristo Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Nesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Jaramillo got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Lartaun. If Nicolas Ubelteso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes La cantera de Manuelita got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Atauri. Omar Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Ubelteso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Natal to make the kick off. Omar Nesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Ubelteso, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Jaramillo's Severino Richie got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Jaramillo got a freekick which was hit by Severino Richie. Nicolas Ubelteso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Omar Nesor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 65th minute Moises Oriche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Richie kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Wilfredo Bartuelos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Omar Nesor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nicolas Ubelteso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Omar Nesor firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Jaramillo's Omar Nesor got control of the ball when Nicolas Ubelteso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Hever got free with Omar Nesor in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilfredo Bartuelo's late challenge caught a Jaramillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfredo Bartuelo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Wilfredo Bartuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
