After having played for 32 minutes, Cesar Eudoxio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaramillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Eudoxio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, El Expreso Tombino's Marcos Martxot got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Moises Oriche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niceto Cambranes having to make a save. Flavio Dayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Nesor having to interfere. Omar Nesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Tajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Aristides Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
