In the 9th minute Lino Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Breogan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lino Maidana came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Breogan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maraja jr's zone, Fernan Blasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Maidana came out of the goal and Fernan Blasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Fernan Blasco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lino Maidana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fernan Blasco struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Lino Maidana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benítez AFC. Lino Maidana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Blasco in the 39th minute of the match. Lino Maidana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Belarmo in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justino Berasko to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Benítez AFC booed when Maraja jr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Aguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Breogan in the 57th minute of play forced Maraja jr's goalkeeper Lino Maidana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Maraja jr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Ishmael to maneuver through the defense. Lino Tipi hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Benítez AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Matai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Kemen. Lino Maidana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Blasco in the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Justino Berasko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aldo Matai. That made the score 2-3 in the 71 minute of play. When Lino Kemen came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Maraja jr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Kemen couldn't finish the play. Justino Berasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Aldo Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Kemen struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Aldo Matai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maraja jr. Aldo Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Berasko in the 84th minute of play. Aldo Matai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Kemen in the 85th minute. Marco Breogan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Maidana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Fernan Blasco notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Maraja jr's Lino Maidana. Lino Maidana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernan Blasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Breogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lino Maidana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
