A collision led to Esquel FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Moises Isidor hit a great ball. In the 8th match minute, Esquel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Transito to maneuver through the defense. Placido Piorno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristo Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Placido Piorno came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Barrancas f.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Piorno couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Cristo Transito got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sergio Venerando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Quiroga in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Ezequiel Ibañez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Venerando skillfully saved the ball. Ambrosio Quiroga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Sergio Venerando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sergio Venerando made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ambrosio Quiroga sent off a good shot on target. Ambrosio Quiroga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Venerando having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Barrancas f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Transito came free, but Sergio Venerando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Barrancas f.c's goalkeeper Sergio Venerando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Quiroga. 46 minutes into the match, Saturnino Abad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Sesuldo. Esquel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Abad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Piorno was the one to do the kick off. 74 minutes into the match, Barrancas f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Transito came free, but Sergio Venerando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Jonas Nicholas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulises Sesuldo, 3-2. After some careless play in the Barrancas f.c defense, Ambrosio Quiroga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Venerando. The Barrancas f.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Venerando should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Esquel FC's Ulises Sesuldo got control of the ball when Jonas Nicholas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esquel FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barrancas f.c for a fine match.
