The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Stanislao got free with Omar Nesor in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Jaramillo's Omar Nesor got control of the ball when Isidoro Stanislao tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Moises Oriche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Stanislao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benicio Arano in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Nesor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cesar Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Nesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Arano, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Cesar Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fernando Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Moises Oriche came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Jaramillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Oriche couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Oriche in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Caton saved Taipei City FC from getting behind. Moises Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Caton having to interfere. If Benicio Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Jaramillo's zone, Benicio Arano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Nesor came out of the goal and Benicio Arano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benicio Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Isidoro Stanislao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taipei City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Stanislao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Nesor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Edgardo Platon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesar Eudoxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Caton having to interfere. Cesar Eudoxio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 92nd playminute.
