The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristo Natal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Lino Maidana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maraja jr! Lino Maidana went to the wrong direction when Primitivo Ostots was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Lino Maidana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Natal in the 12th minute of play. If Cristo Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes La cantera de Manuelita got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Gotzon. After a defensive mix-up in La cantera de Manuelita's zone, Lino Kemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Jon came out of the goal and Lino Kemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Cristo Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Maidana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Faustino Atauri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La cantera de Manuelita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maraja jr the free kick. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind La cantera de Manuelita's goalkeeper Carmelo Jon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Kemen to make the kick off. La cantera de Manuelita made a substitution. Aureliano Eyague replaced Pascual Selatse. La cantera de Manuelita made a substitution. Wilfredo Bartuelo replaced Cristo Natal. Carmelo Jon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Pinto in the 62nd minute of play. Primitivo Ostots struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Lino Maidana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La cantera de Manuelita. Lino Maidana made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Nicolas Ubelteso sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Lino Kemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lino Kemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Ubelteso took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Maidana. Lino Maidana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The La cantera de Manuelita players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
