Mateo Baristo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Damian Balendin might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Baristo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Balendin ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Payable On Death's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Filipo came free, but Teodoro Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Naranja booed when Payable On Death was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jacinto Filipos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Teodoro Vargas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sixto Florinio charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Payable On Death's Teodoro Vargas realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Naranja's Moises Berasko got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Teodoro Vargas. 98 minutes into the match, Payable On Death's goalkeeper Teodoro Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Filipo. Jacinto Filipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Payable On Death's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
