Gervasio Rioja showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Tu Vieja FC's Ildefonso Nataniel got a free kick in the 24th minute. Nunez Montes's late challenge caught a Momios F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Montes helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Leopoldo Otsoko, was totally fooled by Momios F.C.'s Edgard Gines, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gervasio Rioja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Otsoko having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Tu Vieja FC's zone, Gervasio Rioja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Otsoko came out of the goal and Gervasio Rioja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Momios F.C. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Filiberto Chale hit a great ball. Tu Vieja FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Momios F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaspar Firmo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Tu Vieja FC's corner Gaspar Firmo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geronimo Cristos quite easily take care of the ball. Gervasio Rioja hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Otsoko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Galoer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tu Vieja FC's Leopoldo Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Galoer in the 87th minute of play. Tadeo Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Momios F.C. fully deserved thier win.
