When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvano Santiago made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Romeo Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Payable On Death's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Ramone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Payable On Death's zone, Silvano Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Vargas came out of the goal and Silvano Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 minutes, Claudio Grabiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Payable On Death and the Cortaderas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teodosio Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Ramone, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute.
