Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edelmiro Naelio made the kick off which started today's match. Niceto Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Naelio in the 8th minute of play. Ricardo Loreto charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ricardo Loreto kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Hormiguero's Edelmiro Naelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niceto Rami narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edelmiro Naelio in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Rami saved Caucete from getting behind. Edelmiro Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Rami having to interfere. In the 19th minute Mario Txordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Aurken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Mario Txordon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adrian Aurken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Hormiguero's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Txordon came free, but Adrian Aurken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Caucete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Loreto to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Naelios short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Niceto Rami to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Narciso Fix got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 39th minute, Leo Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Txordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Rami made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Edelmiro Naelio sent off a good shot on target. After 48 played minutes Hormiguero got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Nesor. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Txordon was the one to do the kick off. Narciso Fix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 played minutes Hormiguero got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Hodei. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Txordon in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Aurken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Caucete's zone, Isaac Hodei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Rami came out of the goal and Isaac Hodei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Caucete defense, Narciso Fix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niceto Rami. The Caucete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niceto Rami should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Naelio in the 70th minute of play forced Caucete's goalkeeper Niceto Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Hodei couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Edelmiro Naelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niceto Rami was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 97 played minutes, Hormiguero's Victorio Serapio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niceto Rami came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hormiguero reached it.
