The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Naelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hormiguero's Edelmiro Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Adolfo Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Aurken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Hormiguero got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Hodei. Adrian Aurken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Edelmiro Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Mendebal having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Edelmiro Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hormiguero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Naelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Mendebal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cornelio Quinto.
