The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermengildo Mendebal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Jimeno Valerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hermengildo Mendebal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. JUVENTUS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorento the free kick. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Sorento. Pascual Orzaize stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Octavio Bladi. 2-2. The JUVENTUS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sorento from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
