After some careless play in the Romanticos FC defense, Leonides Estebano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Oliverio. The Romanticos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Oliverio should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Larpe in the 20th minute of play forced Romanticos FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Estebano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Hernan Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Austin having to interfere. With 27 minutes on the clock, Hilario Isidor commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Fabricio Oliverio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelino Tanio was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Reynaldo Mitxaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Hitz made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Romanticos FC's Mauro Niguel.
