Alfredo Erroman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Lain in the 18th minute of play. Pedro Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Lorencio having to interfere. Alfredo Erroman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleto Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Henry got free with Silvio Lorencio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Lorencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the game, Tonono's Cleto Henry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Lorencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Amato to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Lain dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredo Erroman, 1-1. If Vladimiro Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Erroman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Pacho FC booed when Tonono was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Henry couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Tonono's Pedro Amato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Lorencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Tonono's goalkeeper Alfredo Erroman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Lain. Paolo Bartuelo's late challenge caught a Pacho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 85 minutes, Vladimiro Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pacho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Lain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pacho FC's Silvio Lorencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Amato in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tonono had played much better football throughout.
