The audience was convinced that German Ignazio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Chucho was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Virgilio Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Manantiales getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ramon Cloyo hit a great ball. Braulio Chucho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If German Ignazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nunez Arias to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Edur in the 53rd minute of play forced Juventud Unida E.R.'s goalkeeper Severiano Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Apolo Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Edur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juventud Unida E.R.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manantiales the free kick. After 63 played minutes Juventud Unida E.R. got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Petrigai. Apolo Edur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Juventud Unida E.R.'s zone, Virgilio Mateus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Vellito came out of the goal and Virgilio Mateus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braulio Chucho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nunez Arias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. Severiano Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Mateus in the 77th minute of play. Nunez Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Manantiales got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Cloyo. In the 83rd minute, Conrado Indar fired a really elegant long shot, but Braulio Chucho threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Nunez Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Chucho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Juventud Unida E.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Mateus came free, but Severiano Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Braulio Chucho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Juventud Unida E.R. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
