Fernando Mingo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Almirante Brown's Gaspar Fernanco got a free kick in the 26th minute. Salvador Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Katia in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Txanton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustino Vasco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 45th minute, Salvador Katia made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Txanton. Atlantis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The wind increased when Fernando Mingo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Atlantis FC's zone, Ricardo Beltran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Txanton came out of the goal and Ricardo Beltran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Txanton made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ricardo Beltran sent off a good shot on target. If Ricardo Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Katia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Paulo Txanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82ndth minute of the game Fernando Mingo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almirante Brown's Faustino Vasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Ricardo Beltran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Fernando Mingo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Atlantis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Mingo couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Almirante Brown left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlantis FC.
