Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Higinio Egoi made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cheminea AFC's goalkeeper Elias Poz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Perfecto got free with Elias Poz in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 8 played minutes Lipeo got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Gaizkine. Emanuel Otoniel might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Venceslao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Otoniel ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Lipeo's zone, Higinio Egoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Venceslao came out of the goal and Higinio Egoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Emanuel Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Rio during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lipeo's Bernardo Rio got a free kick in the 24th minute. Emanuel Otoniel took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Venceslao. Melquiades Venceslao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Egoi in the 30th minute of play forced Lipeo's goalkeeper Melquiades Venceslao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Venceslao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Melquiades Venceslao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Higinio Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Venceslao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Fausto Mel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheminea AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lipeo the free kick. A collision led to Cheminea AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fausto Mel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Egoi in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Venceslao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 48 played minutes, Cheminea AFC's Danilo Flor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melquiades Venceslao came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cheminea AFC reached it.

In the 55th minute Julio Chumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Poz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Poz came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Lipeo's Faustino Perfecto. But to his dismay, Faustino Perfecto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 60thth minute of the game Higinio Egoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lipeo's Melquiades Venceslao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Higinio Egoi took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Melquiades Venceslao to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th minute, Fausto Mel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gaudencio Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cheminea AFC's Gaudencio Fonso suffered a concussion in the 80th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 80 played minutes Lipeo got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Guillen. In the 81st minute, Lipeo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emanuel Otoniel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aristides Hitzeder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Melquiades Venceslao skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Higinio Egoi fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheminea AFC's protests and gave Higinio Egoi a yellow card for diving instead. Higinio Egoi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The Lipeo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cheminea AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
