The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Munio got free with Godofredo Fagildo in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mi Pirata Cordobé booed when HIELASANGRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Lucado in the 29th minute of play forced HIELASANGRE's goalkeeper Arnaldo Turi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Moises Lucado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HIELASANGRE's Arnaldo Turi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximiliano Betadur struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Godofredo Fagildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HIELASANGRE. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
